CLASSIFYING ANIMALS
ALCOS #8 - IDENTIFY HOW ORGANISMS ARE CLASSIFIED IN THE ANIMALIA AND PLANTAE KINGDOMSWe are researching the 5 different groups that animals are classified in: amphibians, reptiles, fish, mammals, and birds.
To begin the project, students will be assigned to a group. Once in a group, students will then decide which animal they would like to research. Each group will have 1 member researching each of the 5 animal groups. Students will then form a new group with other students who chose the same animal class. Students will spend 2 days researching and recording facts about their animal group using the links below.

After gathering the facts, students will then create a mini poster using all that they have learned about their particular animal group. Students will then return to their original group and teach each other what they have learned.
Students will join all of their mini posters together to create a large web of animal classification information. The project grade will come from students' participation and the information found on their presentation piece.
